Small Alsatian Christmas bredeles illustrated with images related to JUL, whose name resembles the Alsatian winter solstice once celebrated and called the festival of JULE.
The bredeles are simple butter bredeles or butterbredeles.
The designs represent:
- a simplified alien face;
- the name JUL attached;
- a representation of two hands making the JUL sign;
- the sentence "they call me the UFO" in Alsatian and in handwriting.
This project was proposed in the context of an exhibition in Marseille seeking to link Alsace and the Phocaean city in the space of the Agent Troublant, a gallery and fanzine library in Marseille.
Gluehwin, or hot wine, was served with the bredeles.
